Structural Funds: Investing in Roma
EURoma technical secretariat is run by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG), a Spanish NGO.
The Fundación Secretariado Gitano is a non-profit intercultural social organisation, which provides services for the development of the Roma community throughout the Spanish territory as well as at the European level. It commenced its work in the 1960s and was constituted as a Foundation in 2001.
The mission of the FSG is aimed at supporting the equal access of Roma persons to the rights, services and social resources of the rest of the citizenry. In order to do so, it undertakes all kinds of actions aimed at improving the living conditions of Roma persons and at promoting the recognition, support and development of their cultural identity.
