The second Meeting of the National Network for the Social Inclusion of the Roma was held in Rome on the 8th of June 2009, promoted by the Directorate-General for Guidance and Training Policies of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Policies and coordinated by Isfol, the National Institute for the Development of the Vocational Training of Workers (www.isfol.it).
The national Network was established as an answer to the need to report the information and inputs coming from the European Network on Social inclusion and Roma Community, but also in order to bring together the experiences of all policies and initiatives implemented on the Italian territory in support of Roma inclusion, by promoting exchange on the issues involved in the preparation and implementation of policies in the strategic sectors of integration.
