Structural Funds: Investing in Roma
The Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG) is organising next 20th of January in Madrid, Spain, a Seminar on Roma Migration.
It will focus on the work that is being developed for FSG in various Spanish cities with Roma migrants mainly from Romania and Bulgaria. A second part of the seminar will concentrate on the European institutions who have a say in this matter, as well as a block devoted to some experiences on the ground run by NGOs from different countries.
Due to the importance of the situation of the Roma migrants, the FSG is organising a seminar with the objective of exchanging experiences and work developed in several cities aiming at improving their living conditions.
In this second edition of the Seminar on Roma Migrants, a part of sharing the work done by the FSG in various Spanish cities (mainly with Roma migrants from Romania and Bulgaria) some European experiences will be discussed presented by European institutions, such as OSCE, CoE, CE and FRA, as well as on the ground run by NGOs from different countries: Italy, United Kingdom and France.
Roma migration is a subject of general interest at around Europe. Therefore a document will be produce with the main conclusions of the event.
