The Commission Comunication encourages Member States to use the EURoma network to exchange best practices regarding Roma inclusion

In a policy Communication (COM(2010)133) "The social and economic integration of the Roma in Europe" adopted on 7 April 2010, the Commission outlines an ambitious mid-term programme to meet the biggest challenges for Roma inclusion. EURoma its mention in making policy measures more effective.

Roma communities, the European Union’s largest ethnic minority, continue to face persistent discrimination and segregation.

Concretly, regarding EURoma network it is mentioned that the increasing exchanges of experience among national administrations about successful Roma-targeted programmes can be developed through the participation of Member States in Ehe European Network on Social Inclusion and Roma under Structural Funds (EURoma).
