EURoma organises its first meeting of 2024 in Rome

Hosted by the Italian partners and with the support of the Italian NRCP (National Office Against Racial Discrimination- UNAR), the meeting gathered EURoma partner authorities from 14 Member States, as well as representatives from the European Commission and of other relevant Italian stakeholders.

EURoma Reference Document on calls for proposals-
new language versions available

New language versions of this EURoma Reference Document are now published (others will follow). The document aims to gather aspects to be considered by relevant authorities in the design and launch of the calls for proposals to contribute to Roma equality and inclusion.

EURoma participates in DG REGIO's seminar on Roma inclusion in Czechia and Slovakia

High-Level Specialists Group on the Future of Cohesion Policy presents its report

The Group reflected on the functioning of Cohesion Policy and on how to ensure that it continues to promote prosperirty and convergence beyond 2027, while considering the green and digital transition as well as demographic, industrial, and geopolitical challenges.

FRA report on compliance of 2021-2027 EU Funds with fundamental rights

The report reflects on how to guarantee that the funds covered by CPR 2021-2027 are used in a manner that promotes and respects fundamental rights and does not lead to or enhance any violations of such rights. It is based on analysis of 12 Member States.

Toolkit on use of EU funds for investments in social housing and associated services

Released by the European Commission, it aims to promote that EU funding opportunities are maximised to achieve real impact by reviewing how nine EU Funds can support investments in these fields. It includes cases studies and country factsheets.

European Commission's publication on impact of EU Cohesion Policy 2014-2020

The publication aims to offer a deep dive into the Cohesion Policy 2014-2020. While this policy is delivered through three funds (ESF, ERDF and CF), it focuses mainly on the results enabled by the last two, and the instruments that are deployed through them.

Council adopts EU legislation to strengthen the role of equality bodies

The two new Directives should improve the effectiveness and guarantee the independence of these bodies to promote equal treatment, combat discrimination and provide assistance to victims, including on the basis of ethnic origin.
