23rd-25th May 2011 | Several places in Slovakia
The Directorate General for Regional Policy will organise the next High Level Event on Structural Funds and integration of Roma population in Slovakia in May 2011. This event is a follow-up to the ones organized in Hungary in 2009 and in Romania in 2010.
The event will gather representatives of EU institutions, national, regional and local authorities as well as civil society organisations and other stakeholders. Its overall objective will be to mobilise the increased use of EU funds aiming to significantly improve the social inclusion of the marginalised Roma communities in Slovakia as well as to share experience on what has worked and how in the field of Roma Inclusion.
The event consists of 3 main parts:
- National conference in Bratislava – 23. May
- Field visit in Eastern-Slovakia – 24. May
- Regional conference in Kosice – 25. May
